Even though Bangkok is most well known for it’s seedy red light districts it shouldn’t stop you and your family from exploring this fascinating part of Southeast Asia. There are plenty of family friendly hotels in Bangkok that are nowhere near the red light districts but close to the best shopping and places for family fun.

Bayswater is in the City of Westminster and is located about a mile and a half west of Marble Arch. In the 17th century it was known as “Baynard’s Watering”, renowned for its excellent spring water, and it was later shortened to “Bayswater”.
Bayswater is a very cosmopolitan district with a large number of Americans, Arabs, Greeks, Chinese and Brazilians. It has a Greek Orthodox Cathedral at Moscow Road and a Brazilian Catholic Church by Queensway.
