Traveling in to New York doesn't necessarily mean you are heading to New York City. There are many fabulous places scattered throughout the state of New York that are just waiting to be discovered and plenty of great hotels to stay in. You can head for the Catskills or travel to the Finger Lakes or go upstate and enjoy a ski vacation. Of course, one favorite destination is Niagara Falls where you will witness the most spectacular falls in the world.
If you're traveling to the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York to the Olympic village of Lake Placid, consider staying at the beautiful Mirror Lake Inn. This treasure is quaint and traditional and offers all the amenities you would find in a huge hotel. The atmosphere is cozy with marble and stone fireplaces, antiques and polished wooden floors. The rooms are cozy to luxurious, and there is a wonderful health spa and exercise room located on the premises
For the more budget minded families who are traveling to Niagara Falls, The Quality Inn located about a block from the Falls offers all the amenities of a luxurious hotel including an indoor pool, whirlpool, cocktail lounge, safe deposit boxes, free coffee, gift shop and free parking. The rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with an alarm clock radio, cable TV, coffeemaker, data ports, iron, and telephones. The Catskill Mountains offers affordable family fun at the Pollace's Resort. This resort offers true family vacations at fabulous, affordable rates. It is a traditional Italian resort with a restaurant that serves delicious Italian meals. Located in Greene Country's Northern Catskill Mountains, the resort is open from mid June to Labor Day and Columbus Day Weekend. If you?re traveling to New York City for business or pleasure, you'll need a place to stay. Aside from the traditional well-known hotels, there are hostels, cheap city hotels, as well as luxurious and boutique-style hotels to fit every budget.
